Activity with fun

A leisure or educational voyage mustn´t be boring. To prohibit gloom, our region and even our establishment provides some possibilities for athletic activities with fun.

In our establishment you have the possiblity to pass the time with table-tennis (outdoor and indoor), basketball or volleyball.Our spacious green space provides the ability to do various sporty activities.

For friends of soccer there is the asphalt pitch of the club "Schwarz-Weiß-Sonthofen", which is located right next to our establishment.

Even for the water-rats within our guest is provided for. There is mainly the flooded gravel-pit, located a 3 min walk away from our site. As second close to nature free swimming place is the Sonthofener See, which lays about 1 km away in an idyllic spot..
A public fun bath including sauna is offered by Sonthofen. The "Wonnemar" (www.wonnemar.de) is offering a whole bunch of possibilities for super bath- and wellnes fun.
For everybody who likes it extravagant there´s the possiblity to acquitaint with the nature in a new way. We mediate the workers for rafting-, canyoning-, canoe- or mountainbik tours. A professional high-wire-climbing-ground, for which we are mediating the necessary professionals, located on our site is part of our activity suggestions

In winter the region of Sonthofen offers many possibilities for winter sports. There´s mainly the "Ofterschwanger Horn", known for the worldcup, as a highlight. The mountain cableways of Ofterschwang and Gunzesried are offering 15 km of ski-runs, with 8 km being skiable almost the whole winter through artificial snow-covering. A two- and a four-person-cableway along with five T-bar lifts are used for the comfortable transport to the starting-points of the runs. As well known through woldcup-runs is the skiing-region of the "Hörner-Bahn Bolsterlang". Runs of approximatly 20 kilometers are a high-feeling. All of the runs are well prepared and have snow form december until april. There are two one-person cableways, two two-person cableways and three T-bar lifts for the transportation to the descent point. Right next to Oberstdorf - worldwide know though the "International four - ski - jump tour" as well as the "Nordic Ski Worldchampionship 2005" - you find the Nebelhorn (2224m) and the Fellhorn (2037m) the "non-plus-ultra" of the Allgäuer snow-circus.
Wheter you´re looking for easy to difficult runs, snowboard-specials or luge - here in the biggest skiing-area of germany you will find the whole range of total winter-fun.
